Maybe it's just me, but I find the Next Page, Previous Page links in paginated blogs to be a little annoying. Why? Because everyone handles it a little differently.

When you are at the bottom of your first page of entries, you see the link to go to the previous page. That works fine. But get a few pages deep and the previous/next nomenclature becomes a bit confusing. Once I start to get some momentum, my brain always tricks me to thinking I need to go to the Next Page, when I really need to click Previous Page. It's like I travelled so far South around the world, that I am actually going North. I click the wrong direction way to often.

It would make much more sense to use Older Entries and Newer Entries. There is no way I could screw that up. It just makes sense for browsing pages sorted by, you know... date. I know some people already do use this which is great, but the blogging engines (Wordpress, TextPattern, etc.) really should rethink the Next/Previous naming convention on their default templates. I can't be the only one who is sick of clicking the wrong link, can I?
